Multi-angle Camera
Multi-angle Camera is a canvas utility for generating a new camera-angle prompt from an existing image. You select an image on the canvas, adjust the virtual camera direction, and send the result back to the canvas. DFCine then creates a new image node, connects the selected image to it, selects the Camera Multi Angle workflow, and fills in the generated prompt automatically.
This is useful when you already have a character, product, prop, or scene image and want to create another view of the same subject.
Before You Start
Prepare an image source on the canvas. The source can be:
- An upload node that displays an image.
- An image generation node that already has an image result.
The selected node should show an image preview on the canvas. If the node does not contain an image, the Multi-angle Camera tool will not use it as the target image.
Open Multi-angle Camera
- Open a project and enter a canvas.
- Select an image node or an image upload node.
- Find the vertical toolbar on the left side of the canvas.
- Click Utilities.
- Click Multi-angle Camera.
The tool opens as a floating panel beside the selected node. The selected image is shown inside the preview area so you can judge the new camera direction visually.
Adjust the Camera Angle
Use the controls on the right side of the panel:
- Horizontal: rotate the camera around the subject. For example, front view, side view, back view, or quarter view.
- Vertical: adjust whether the camera looks from below, eye level, or above.
- Distance: choose the framing, such as wide shot, medium shot, or close-up.
- Reset View: restore the default camera angle.
The prompt preview at the bottom updates automatically as you adjust these controls.
Send to the Canvas
When the angle looks right:
- Click Send.
- DFCine creates a new image node on the canvas.
- The new node automatically uses the Camera Multi Angle workflow.
- The selected image node is connected to the new node as the image input.
- The generated camera-angle prompt is written into the new node.
After this, you can review the new node parameters and run the node like any other image workflow.
The original image node is not changed. The Multi-angle Camera tool creates a separate node so you can keep the source image and the new angle generation step visible on the canvas.
Copy the Prompt
If you only want to reuse the generated prompt manually, click Copy. This copies the current camera-angle prompt to the clipboard without creating or changing any node.
Tips
- Select the clearest image result before opening the tool. A clean source image usually gives the workflow better information to work with.
- Use quarter views when you want a natural turn from the original image instead of a full front or back switch.
- If the new node is created but not connected as expected, check that the selected source node has an image result or image upload loaded.
